Overview

Early in my career, I learned CorelDRAW, Illustrator, and MacDraw to create technical illustrations for a software company and a manufacturer of automation controls. I created detailed product illustrations used for hardware spec sheets.  Since then, I have used Photoshop and other Adobe products for editing images and screenshots. Recently, I have used Draw.io, Mermaid.js, Miro, and Visio to develop flowcharts and diagrams. I also have some training in LucidChart. I have used Canva to create social media assets, designs, and infographics.

I have designed corporate and trade association newsletters, working with a variety of desktop publishing tools. I benefited from this design experience when creating technical documentation with FrameMaker. I have also used several no-code website platforms, including Wix and Canva.

Today, I also use AI to create designs, illustrations, flowcharts, and diagrams.  Many of the illustrations on this website were created with the assistance of AIs in Wix, Draw.io, Canva, and Copilot. The flowcharts and infographic samples on this page were created using computer-generated designs without AI assistance. â€‹
